Hi Cindy, no, it’s not hot at all. Hanoi has 4 seasons and it’s winter right now, which means 60 -65 degrees F, although it seems warmer to us, and the humidity is in the 70% range. I even bought a blanket (on blanket street). It’s very comfortable during the day, and a little chilly at night. My one pair of jeans and one sweatshirt are getting a work-out. One of these days I’ll have to branch out and buy another long sleeved shirt. But it will warm up by March, I’m told, and the rains will begin. June, July and August are the hot, humid, rainy months here in the north. We’ve only had one day of show-stopping rain so far. I think we’re lucky to be here now when it’s easy to be out and about. Most folks wear down jackets and hats. Riding a scooter can be cold, I think.
Have fun at bookgroup and say hi to everyone for me! xo
